Air Tahiti Nui presents its new eco-designed activity kit for children

Committed to the well-being of its youngest passengers, Air Tahiti Nui is pleased to present its new on-board activity kit for children, designed to keep them entertained in a Polynesian atmosphere. With its new design, this kit demonstrates the airline’s desire to reduce its environmental footprint and promote the preservation of Polynesian biodiversity.
Developed in collaboration with Formia which specializes in the design of travel accessories, the new Air Tahiti Nui children's kit is eco-designed. This new product therefore aligns with Air Tahiti Nui's CSR responsible approach. The activity kit is made from sustainable materials that come from responsible sources, limits single-use plastic and uses plant-based ink. All paper items and pencils in the kit are labelled FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, guaranteeing responsible forest management.
The set contains:
- A reusable drawstring bag to equip families for all their adventures.
- A fun activity booklet with educational activities and coloring pages to discover and protect Polynesian wildlife.
- Board games to share fun moments with the family.
- A box of colored pencils to boost the creativity of young explorers.
This new activity kit is already offered on board Tahitian Dreamliners, Air Tahiti Nui's aircraft. It is available to all passengers between 3 and 7 years old.
The children thus embark on a journey to meet the Polynesian fauna: Fetia the Sea Turtle, Ta'aroa the Coconut Crab, Maimiti the Manta Ray, Hiroiti the Lory, and Manea the Shark are the young globetrotters' companions during their stay. Today's and tomorrow's travelers discover practical and useful advice for preserving the ecosystem of our islands.
This kit completes the entertainment already available on board: downloadable children's magazines, movies, TV series, video games and music are indeed available to families.
Soon, children will be offered new audio headsets designed to provide optimal audio experience on board our aircraft. These headsets will be reusable, as part of Air Tahiti Nui's responsible policy. They will be collected, washed and reconditioned after each flight.
Note that Air Tahiti Nui also offers a comfort kit for babies to parents traveling with their infants. It contains the essentials for changing (a changing mat, wipes, soothing lotion and diapers) as well as an adorable whale comforter.
